our recent stay in montagu was made even better by our time at abigail's garden cottage. the special extras and personal touches, like the welcome treats and fresh coffee, made us feel truly pampered. the lovely garden and friendly hosts added to the overall charm of the place. highly recommended!
Wifi was a letdown.

We had our own Wi-Fi and chrome cast, so we could stream our favorite shows non-stop. The gas heater and fireplace kept us cozy, and the welcome basket was off the hook. The garden was so chill, and we even had our own parking entrance. It was the coolest place to kick back after hitting up the nearby hiking trails and rock climbing spots!
The only thing we wish was better was if there were more late-night hangout options for young party animals like us. It would have been rad to have a pool table or a mini-bar in the cottage to keep the party going even when we were back from our adventures.

The cottage was clean and well-equipped, with warm water for showers and cozy heaters for the cold weather. the hostess was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. the beautiful garden added to the pleasant ambiance. the secure, covered parking gave a sense of safety and convenience.
The lack of milk and intermittent wifi were minor inconveniences. It would have been better if these advertised amenities were readily available.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming cottage in the heart of town. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The cottage was well-decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including a fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. The owner was friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay. The location was perfect, with restaurants just a short walk away. We were also pleased that the cottage was pet-friendly and had a fully enclosed yard for our small dogs. we highly recommend this accommodation for a wonderful stay in Montagu.

I absolutely loved the cozy and homely atmosphere of Abigail's Garden Cottage. The owner, Gail, was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The cottage itself was surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. I also appreciated that the owner had the heater on before my arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. The added bonus of two friendly dogs made my stay even more enjoyable. The book collection in the cottage was extensive and I only wish I had more time to indulge in it. the cottage was beautifully decorated and had a lovely garden, making it accessible and enjoyable for senior people like myself.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is the addition of an air conditioning unit. Although this is not a major issue, especially in the lovely town of Montagu, it would have been nice to have during the hotter months.

The cottage had a convenient location with easy access to breakfast facilities and the Montague Country Hotel. The hosts provided special extras like fruit, welcome treats, muscadel, and organic hair care products. The garden was beautiful and perfect for relaxing on the patio while enjoying breakfast. Lots of information about nearby activities was available, and the complimentary wine was fantastic.
Felt super comfortable, nothing to complain about.
